To help businesses to take a confident step forward in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, at the beginning of lockdown we launched the first version of the Covid-19 Consumer Tracker, designed to monitor fast changing consumer sentiment, attitudes and behaviour as these unprecedented events unfold around us.
The tracker was developed in response to the challenges faced by our clients across the general insurance industry, we have been working hard behind the scenes gathering data and insight that will help personal lines insurers and brokers navigate this difficult and challenging time.
The first nine weeks of the pandemic were an unchartered rollercoaster, during which time our data and insight helped bring clarity to the unknown. The next nine weeks will include dips that have, unfortunately, been chartered before. However, understanding how the looming recession, as well as a potential second peak of the pandemic, will impact consumers through the rest of 2020 - and beyond - will be key for insurers.
To follow the changes to come, gain insights into the next stage of the pandemic and examine how they affect consumer behaviour and attitudes, we have launched version 2.0 of the Covid-19 consumer tracker, which is now available to purchase.
