Consumer Intelligence has won three trophies at the prestigious Global Business Excellence Awards.

The market and consumer insight agency, based in Bristol, was recognised for its success in helping insurance and financial services companies in attracting and retaining business by fixating on customer satisfaction for the long-term.

It picked up awards for Outstanding Customer Service Initiative, Outstanding Marketing Campaign at the Global Business Excellence Awards, and marketing director Ruth Connor was named Outstanding New Employee.

The Global Business Excellence Awards pride themselves on having a large panel of independent expert judges who select winners according to strict criteria for each category and sector; focussing on financial results, innovation, customer, employee, investor and community benefits.

Commenting on Consumer Intelligence, the winner in the Outstanding Customer Service Initiative category, the chairman of the judges Keith Murray said:

“Consumer Intelligence has successfully transformed its services from being benchmarking based to providing its financial services clients with compelling insights into markets and consumer behaviour that they can’t live without. As a result of providing more in-depth, valuable information, clients are queuing up for its services.

Visits to the company’s website leapt by 184%, customer activity soared by 279% and it has attracted the interest of top executives in financial services. These brilliant results prove that Consumer Intelligence has got its customer service just right”.

Ian Hughes, Chief Executive of Consumer Intelligence said:

“For over 10 years we have been helping financial services companies to see the world through the eyes of their customers and winning a Global Business Excellence award highlights the value we are delivering for our clients.”
